The 2026 Formula 1 calendar has been released jointly by commercial rightsholder FOM and governing body the FIA, featuring 24 race weekends like before. The season will kick off on 8 March in Melbourne with the Australian Grand Prix and conclude in Abu Dhabi on 6 December. Notably, due to the Ramadan holiday, Australia will host the season opener instead of Bahrain as in previous years. Changes include Canada’s Grand Prix moving forward in May, causing a clash with the Indianapolis 500. Monaco Grand Prix shifts to early June for accommodating Miami and Canada events. The season wraps up with six race weekends in seven weeks, featuring double-headers and moving races like Spain to a hybrid street circuit in Madrid.
