Massa’s legal team warns of UK High Court action over FIA/FOM delays
Felipe Massa’s lawyers have sent a letter to FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem and FOM CEO Stefano Domenicali, alleging that Massa was a victim of a conspiracy during the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix. They claim that both the FIA and FOM deliberately acted to avoid a scandal despite being aware of the cheating affair. Massa’s team argues that he lost millions in income and suffered moral and reputational damages as a result. The FIA and FOM have responded to the letter but have asked for more time to provide a formal response. If a response is not given by September 8th, Massa’s team plans to take the matter to the UK High Court.
