Leclerc: F1 needed entertaining Vegas race after chaotic weekend start
Charles Leclerc finished second to Max Verstappen in the Vegas Grand Prix, despite Verstappen receiving a penalty for pushing Leclerc off the track at Turn 1. Leclerc managed to overtake Verstappen on the final lap with the help of the DRS system. Speaking about the race, Leclerc expressed his excitement and mentioned that more races should produce similar battles. He also acknowledged the importance of the Vegas race for Formula 1, especially after the initial problems during the weekend, which included damage to his teammate’s car and disruptions to practice sessions. Leclerc concluded by saying that he was pleased with his second-place finish and enjoyed the race.
