In the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours race, Ferrari demonstrated dominance early on, securing a top-three lockout with their 499P LMHs at the front. Cadillac’s Sebastien Bourdais, who had voiced concerns about Ferrari’s speed, saw his fears realized as the Italian machines surged to the lead. The #50 Ferrari led after six hours, with the #51 and #83 also performing strongly. Notably, the #6 Porsche, starting from the back due to disqualification, impressively climbed to third place by the second hour. A drive-through penalty hindered the #5 Porsche, allowing the Ferraris to claim the top three positions. BMW and Toyota showed competitive performances, positioning themselves well within the top ten as the race unfolded. Meanwhile, Peugeot faced challenges, with one car suffering an early incident and the other adopting a unique pitstop strategy.
