Kyle Larson’s Disappointing Double DNF: The Coke 600 Pile-Up

In the third stage of the Coca-Cola 600, a three-wide situation led to a crash involving Ryan Blaney, Chase Briscoe, and Daniel Suarez.

The incident resulted in Suarez spinning across Briscoe’s nose into Blaney, causing mayhem on the track and collecting Justin Haley and Kyle Larson.

Despite leading early in the race, Larson faced disappointment as he failed to finish both the Indy 500 and the Coke 600, completing only about 599 of the 1,100 miles he planned to run on Sunday.

Larson, Suarez, and Blaney all fell out of the race due to crash damage, with only Haley able to continue.

Reflecting on the race, Larson expressed disappointment but commended his team for their efforts in trying to salvage the race for him.

Blaney, who was involved in the three-wide incident, also had to retire from the race, marking his fifth Did Not Finish (DNF) of the season in 2025 along with Suarez, who finished 36th, while Larson placed 37th and Blaney 38th.
