Huge renovation work almost complete at Hungaroring ahead of F1 Hungarian GP

Budapest will host the 40th edition of the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix from 1-3 August 2025, with the Hungaroring undergoing significant renovations over the past year. The unveiling of the revamped facilities, including a new paddock building and media center, took place during a recent press event. CEO Zsolt Gyulay expressed pride in the renovations, emphasizing the modernization of the pit building and grandstand. The redesigned complex features 40 garages, catering and VIP areas, administrative offices, and a terrace, with full completion scheduled for April 2026. The updated infrastructure aims to meet the professional standards of motorsport and enhance the venue for various events. The Hungarian Grand Prix’s economic impact and historic significance were underscored, securing its place on the F1 calendar until at least 2032.
