Formula E’s new Gen3 Evo car breaks cover
The new specifications of the car were revealed ahead of the Monaco E-Prix, with David Coulthard demonstrating it to the public for the first time. This upgraded Gen3 car features changes in bodywork, tires, and power efficiency, boasting improved acceleration and performance. A front powertrain, making it an all-wheel-drive vehicle, will be used for the first time. The car will have differential power output between front and rear wheels during specific race moments. Teams can upgrade existing chassis with the modifications to save costs and reduce waste, bridging the gap between Gen3 and future Gen4 cars.
