Espargaro fumes as Aprilia MotoGP reliability gremlins strike again
Espargaro was forced to retire from the race after his bike suddenly slowed down on lap eight, following a similar incident in the previous race. He expressed frustration and confusion over the recurring issues. Espargaro believes that he was competitive and had a chance to fight for a top-five position. The engine of his bike was damaged and needed to be replaced. He acknowledged that they have had problems in hot conditions before, but he doesn’t believe that was the cause this time. This pattern of technical problems in the second half of the championship has been a concern for Espargaro. Despite his retirement, Aprilia managed to score a single point in the race.
