Marc Marquez emerged victorious in MotoGP’s Dutch Grand Prix at Assen after holding off pressure from Marco Bezzecchi.
The win further extended Marquez’s championship lead to an impressive 68 points, as his brother Alex Marquez crashed and fractured his hand during the race.
Fabio Quartararo, despite starting on pole, struggled and finished in 10th place, while Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez surged ahead.
Bezzecchi showed strong performance as one of the frontrunners, challenging Marquez throughout the race.
As the race progressed, the field saw changes with Bagnaia and Acosta joining the leading group behind Marquez.
Despite a few incidents and high-profile crashes, Marquez maintained his dominance and secured the victory at Assen.
