After a dramatic elimination in Atlanta, 16 drivers are out, setting up matchups for Round 2 at the Chicago Street Course. The bracket is now in shambles following the chaos at EchoPark Speedway. Notable upsets include No. 1 seed Denny Hamlin and No. 2 seed Chase Briscoe being eliminated.
Surprises continued as other top seeds fell, including Ricky Stenhouse Jr. defeating Christopher Bell and Erik Jones eliminating Ross Chastain. Half of the HMS drivers and all Trackhouse and Penske drivers are now out of the competition.
Moving forward, we now have intriguing Round 2 matchups lined up at the Chicago Street Course, including battles between Ty Dillon and Brad Keselowski, and Alex Bowman facing off against Bubba Wallace. The competition remains fierce as drivers fight for a shot at the championship.
