Competition "number one priority" with Formula E's Gen4 car
The tender process for Formula E’s Gen4 machine, to be used from the 2026-2027 season, will close tomorrow. This new generation of car will have a significant increase in power, peaking at 600kW. The focus will also be on improving the aerodynamics and increasing the width and weight of the car. Different race scenarios will be introduced to add more competitiveness. The goal is to have multiple drivers with a chance to win the championship. The FIA will decide the successful applicants for the tenders on October 19th.
