Charles Leclerc expressed his frustration at missing a chance to win in 2025, as Ferrari was more competitive at the Monaco Grand Prix than elsewhere on the calendar. Despite taking provisional pole, he was edged out by Lando Norris in the final Q3 run. Leclerc acknowledged there wasn’t much more he could do to beat Norris’s lap time. He felt this was Ferrari’s first competitive weekend of the year and a pole position could have led to a race win. Leclerc discussed the challenges he faced during qualifying and his overall satisfaction with the result in Monaco. When asked about his strength on city tracks, he attributed it to his willingness to take risks in qualifying. Leclerc concluded by acknowledging the difficulty of starting second but remaining optimistic about the outcome.
