Marc Marquez took back the lead in the world championship by winning the sprint race at Le Mans, with Alex Marquez and Fermin Aldeguer following closely behind in a Ducati 1-2-3.
This victory extended Marc’s undefeated streak in 2025 sprints to six races, setting a new record for consecutive sprint wins.
Local favorite Fabio Quartararo led a significant portion of the race but ultimately could not match the pace of the Ducati riders.
Despite Quartararo’s initial lead, Marc Marquez managed to overtake him and secure the lead, ultimately pulling away for the win.
Aldeguer impressed by securing his first podium in MotoGP, while Maverick Vinales claimed fifth place after a duel with Pedro Acosta.
Johann Zarco and Fabio di Giannantonio also had strong performances, finishing in sixth and seventh places respectively, with Alex Rins and Joan Mir rounding out the top ten.
