The Cadillac Formula 1 team revealed its logo in a grand event in Miami, attended by top management, potential sponsors, and VIPs. The project to enter F1 has been underway for over two years, facing challenges and delays, until receiving the official green light on March 7.
The team’s backers, Mark Walter and Dan Towriss, took on the costs and preparations, setting up operations in Silverstone. With the official entry, preparations for the 2026 season have intensified, possibly involving outside suppliers.
Partnerships with Ferrari for power units and Toyota for aerodynamics are in progress, with potential collaboration with Dallara for chassis construction. The team has already conducted crash tests, facing challenges to meet the strict 2026 weight limit.
The team’s organizational chart plans for around 600 employees, with work led by technical director Nick Chester. Simultaneously, work on the power unit for 2029 has begun in the United States, ensuring the project’s continuity and future success. The project’s massive investment is safeguarded against uncertainties, with a focus on steady progress and development.
