Francesco Bagnaia is showing increased confidence on Ducati’s 2026 MotoGP bike after the second day of pre-season testing at Sepang. His positive impressions from a previous run on the prototype GP26 in November have been reaffirmed this week in Malaysia. Bagnaia felt more comfortable on the bike immediately after the winter break, particularly noticing improvements in braking, an area crucial for him to work on. While it is still early days, the positive start to testing has put the two-time MotoGP champion in a strong position going into the final day of testing at Sepang. Bagnaia is satisfied with the progress made so far, especially in terms of improved braking performance, thanking Ducati for their support in finding the right feeling on the bike.
