Jenson Button is currently leading for Cadillac at Interlagos with two hours to go, leading a 1-2 for the British-run American team.

Button, in the #38 Cadillac, has about a 20-second lead over Norman Nato in the #12 Cadillac, while Michael Christensen in the #5 Porsche holds third, 44 seconds behind the leader.

Button took over the car at the two-hour mark and has maintained his position after overcoming Christensen earlier in the race.

Paul Di Resta is running fifth in the #93 Peugeot, showcasing a strong performance for the French manufacturer compared to their disappointing showing at Le Mans.

In LMGT3, the Akkodis ASP Lexus cars are dominating, with Clemens Schmid leading in the #87 car and teammate Yuichi Nakayama in second in the #78 sister car.
