The Iron Dames achieved their highest finish in an IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship event to date, with a sixth-place finish
The Iron Dames, consisting of Rahel Frey, Michelle Gatting, Sarah Bovy, and Dorianne Pin, competed in the Daytona 24 Hours race in their Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo 2. They started in 13th place out of 23 entries in the GTD category. The 24-hour race, known for its difficulty, was challenging with limited daylight. As the race progressed, the Iron Dames climbed up the ranks and were able to land on the lead lap in the final hour. They finished in sixth place in the GTD category and 25th overall. The team expressed pride in their performance, recognizing the progress they have made compared to previous years. They are motivated to continue working hard for future races and aim for even better results. The Iron Dames will be participating in the remaining IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup Rounds, starting with the 12 Hours of Sebring in March.
