Jaume Masia became World champion with victory and a little help from his Leopard team mate in a frantic Qatar Moto3 race.
The nineteenth round of the Moto2 season was filled with drama and intense racing, with many aggressive moves and questionable tactics. Jaume Masia and Ayumu Sasaki both had ups and downs in the race, with Masia receiving a conduct warning for his moves on Sasaki. Masia’s teammate, Adrian Fernandez, also made aggressive moves, ultimately pushing Sasaki back in the pack. Despite this, Sasaki fought back and finished sixth, while Masia took the win and celebrated with his team. David Alonso and Deniz Oncu had impressive comeback rides to complete the podium, finishing just behind Masia. Riccardo Rossi and Vincente Perez also had strong performances, finishing fourth and fifth respectively. Overall, it was an action-packed race with intense battles throughout the field.
