Pedrosa third on carbon fibre chassis, ‘knew Marc was waiting for me’
Dani Pedrosa, the MotoGP Legend, had a strong performance in the opening practice sessions at the Grand Prix. Despite being pushed to sixth place in the end, Pedrosa used his testing knowledge to lead much of the first practice session. He continued to perform well in the second session and secured a spot in Q2. Pedrosa was also secretive about the new carbon fibre chassis being used by KTM, saying only that it provides a different feeling. Other riders, such as Jorge Martin and Luca Marini, acknowledged Pedrosa’s impressive performance and expect him to be competitive in both qualifying and the race.
