Oliveira’s 2023 Aprilia debut: ‘A bit better everywhere’
Portuguese MotoGP rider Miguel Oliveira, who has recovered from injuries, found the 2023 bike to be better overall, especially when using very used tires, where he was still faster than his 2022 bike. However, due to the regulations, he will not be able to finish the season on the 2023 bike. The focus for now is on improving the current 2022 bike by testing various components. The test was still beneficial for Oliveira as it helped him understand the limitations of his older bike and the areas where the 2023 parts make a difference. It remains unclear if Oliveira and his teammate will get the 2023 or 2024 bike for next season, but teammate Aleix Espargaro believes Oliveira felt more stability with the 2023 bike.
