The KTM boss is reportedly “avoiding a clear answer” when asked if he could swap the roles of Jack Miller and Pedro Acosta next year.
KTM has resolved their MotoGP rider lineup issue for 2024 by selecting Pol Espargaro as the unfortunate rider to miss out on a full-time ride. Miller and Brad Binder will continue in the factory team, while rising star Acosta will replace Espargaro at Tech3 GASGAS, alongside Fernandez. However, Miller’s underwhelming performance and Acosta’s anticipated brilliance have prompted speculation about a potential bike swap next year. KTM Motorsport Director, Pit Beirer, provided a vague response, which was interpreted as an evasion of the question. While Binder has excelled, occupying fourth place in the MotoGP standings, Miller has struggled and scored zero points in his debut KTM season after leaving Ducati. Acosta’s impending promotion from Moto2 is already causing a stir, with reports suggesting he may want a carbon fibre chassis like Binder and Miller.
