Jorge Martin has pointed the finger firmly at a ‘bad tyre’ for leaving his 2023 MotoGP title hopes on the ropes in Qatar.
After a disappointing performance in the grand prix, Jorge Martin expressed his frustration with the rear tyre, which he claims was not working properly. He struggled with rear grip, making it difficult to stop, turn, and open the throttle. Despite his difficulties, he managed to finish in tenth place and earn some points. However, Francesco Bagnaia’s lead in the championship has now increased to a 21-point advantage over Martin. Martin remains hopeful for the Valencia title decider next weekend, where anything can happen. He believes that the championship should not be decided by a bad tyre, but rather on the track. Martin feels that they deserve the championship and is not worried about the result.
