Charles Leclerc wades into debate around Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari form
Charles Leclerc has defended Ferrari teammate Lewis Hamilton after his tough weekend at the Hungarian Grand Prix, where Hamilton finished in 12th place after struggling in qualifying.
Despite Hamilton’s disappointment, Leclerc believes in his teammate’s ability to bounce back during the remainder of the 2025 F1 season.
Leclerc stressed the importance of team success and supports Hamilton and Ferrari’s overall performance moving forward.
Hamilton also received support from Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur and former Mercedes boss Toto Wolff, who praised the 7-time world champion as the “Greatest of All Time”.
On the other hand, Leclerc rued a missed opportunity for a victory in Hungary as his car faced technical issues and dropped to fourth place in the race.
Ferrari’s ongoing technical challenges have heightened tensions and concerns about their chances of securing a race win in the second half of the season.
