Johann Zarco, who has been with Ducati for the past four years, has signed a two-year deal to join Honda and LCR in 2024, replacing Alex Rins who is moving to Yamaha. This will be Zarco’s second time riding the Honda in the premier class, as he filled in for the injured Takaaki Nakagami at LCR for the final three rounds of 2019. Despite a difficult debut in Australia, Zarco had a good feeling on the RC213V and with LCR during that time. He believes in Honda’s ability to invest in finding a solution and is not afraid of the challenge. Zarco is more mature now and believes he can handle difficult situations and be ready for good situations. His teammate at LCR for 2024 has not yet been confirmed.
