Yuki Tsunoda’s Perplexing Plunge: The Astonishment of Red Bull’s Dominance in the Austrian GP

Yuki Tsunoda expressed his bewilderment at the poor pace of his Red Bull Formula 1 car during the Austrian Grand Prix, finishing at the back of the grid despite starting in 18th position and facing a challenging season.

Tsunoda, who joined Red Bull Racing from Red Bull’s sister team earlier in the year, has struggled to match the performance of his teammate Max Verstappen, scoring only seven points so far in the season.

The Japanese driver admitted his difficulties in identifying the reasons for his lack of pace, stating that even with data analysis, it was hard to pinpoint the issues compared to Verstappen.

Tsunoda highlighted the rapid tire degradation he experienced during the race, leading to a loss of grip with each passing lap, making it challenging to maintain his performance levels.

The race took a further downturn for Tsunoda when he received a 10-second penalty for a collision with Franco Colapinto’s Alpine car at Turn 4, prompting him to apologize to his team for the incident.
