Who is riding at the 2024 MotoGP Spanish Grand Prix?
Pramac Ducati rider Jorge Martin is leading the championship as he heads into his home event at Jerez, maintaining a 21-point lead after finishing third and fourth in the previous race in America. Maverick Vinales of Aprilia is aiming to build on his first grand prix victory in three years following his success at the Americas GP. All full-time riders have started every race this season, a departure from the previous year. The grid for the 2024 Spanish GP has expanded to 25 riders with the introduction of three wildcard entries. Dani Pedrosa, KTM’s test rider and 31-time MotoGP race winner, will make a return to grand prix action at the Spanish GP after contesting wildcards last year. The race at Jerez will also see Honda’s test team with rider Stefan Bradl in action, while Aprilia will enter a fifth RS-GP for its test rider Lorenzo Savadori. The upcoming one-day test following the Jerez round will involve all three riders, and currently there are no reported absences from the 2024 Spanish GP full-time grid.
