Tickford reveal Block Supercars tribute livery for Adelaide
Ken Block, a famous American rally driver and stunt performer, passed away this year. He was well-known for his successful career in the World Rally Championship and European Rallycross, with an impressive record of 100 wins. However, it was his popular Gymkhana series of stunt driving videos that gained him the most publicity, amassing over 600 million views. His cars often featured Monster Energy logos, and in honor of Block, Ford driver Cam Waters will race with a livery inspired by him and will use Block’s favored number, 43, at this weekend’s Adelaide 500. Block attended the event back in 2013 and wowed the fans with a demonstration in a Ford Fiesta. The race will mark the end of the 2023 Supercars season, with drivers Brodie Kostecki and Shane van Gisbergen competing for the championship title.
