Cam Waters, aged 30, is currently in second place in the 2025 Supercars championship standings. He will be racing in the upcoming NASCAR Truck Series event at Lime Rock Park, marking the track’s debut as a host of a national-level NASCAR race.
Waters will be driving the No. 66 truck for ThorSport, a team he has previous experience with. His NASCAR Truck debut was at Martinsville Speedway last year, followed by a second start at Kansas Speedway a few weeks later.
Additionally, Waters participated in the 2024 Cup race at Sonoma with RFK Racing, but a mid-race wreck resulted in a 35th-place finish.
Expressing his excitement, Waters stated, “I am genuinely excited to be heading back over to the USA to race at Lime Rock Park with the ThorSport operation.” He expressed confidence in his readiness for the road course and his determination to secure a win.
This race at Lime Rock Park will be Waters’ first NASCAR Truck competition on a road course, setting a different challenge compared to the previous oval tracks he has raced on.
