Formula 1 has unveiled the final trailer for its upcoming F1 movie featuring Brad Pitt and directed by Joseph Kosinski from Top Gun Maverick.
The film, set for release in June, stars Damson Idris and Brad Pitt as drivers Joshua Pearce and Sonny Hayes, respectively, in a story of a veteran racer’s comeback for APX GP.
The trailer sets up the plot with Hayes aiding a struggling team, clashing with Pearce, an ambitious young talent, leading to intense competition.
It offers glimpses of filming locations, including interaction with real F1 stars like Max Verstappen at Silverstone and features Kerry Condon as race director Kate.
The movie depicts the characters facing challenges in Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi, Monza, and the McLaren Technology Centre, and the press release highlights the blend of Formula 1’s thrill with a fictional drama.
Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Lewis Hamilton, the F1 film premieres internationally on June 25 and in North America on June 27.
