The FIA has approved Red Bull’s request to grant Arvid Lindblad an FIA superlicence before his 18th birthday. Lindblad is set to turn 18 on 8 August 2025, and this exemption allows him to participate in F1 earlier than the minimum age requirement. The FIA’s World Motor Sport Council meeting in Macau gave the green light for this exception. With outstanding talent and maturity in single-seater competition, Lindblad is now an F1 reserve driver option for Red Bull. His recent success in F2, including a feature race win in Spain, sets the stage for a possible F1 debut with the Red Bull family in 2026.
