MotoGP Catalan GP red-flagged after multi-rider smash
The 24-lap race in Barcelona was interrupted due to two major incidents in the first two corners. The first incident involved Enea Bastianini of Ducati, who crashed and caused a collision with Johann Zarco of Pramac Ducati. This collision also involved Fabio Di Giannantonio and Alex Marquez of Gresini Ducati, as well as Marco Bezzecchi of VR46 Ducati. Fortunately, all riders walked away uninjured. However, at Turn 2, championship leader Bagnaia suffered a severe crash on his own, followed by a sickening collision with Brad Binder of KTM. Bagnaia received immediate medical attention and was sent to the medical center. The race was red-flagged, and after a quick restart procedure, the race resumed for 23 laps, with Bastianini not taking part.
