Jorge Martin returned to MotoGP action after 88 days, completing a double test session at Misano on Aprilia’s RS-GP bike.
After suffering a pneumothorax and multiple rib fractures in a crash at the Qatar GP in April, Martin made his first MotoGP track appearance during the rehabilitation process at the Rimini circuit.
Having missed most of the season due to injuries, including the pre-season and the first 11 rounds of the 2025 season, Martin focused on reconnecting with his MotoGP bike during the Misano test.
The test highlighted riding posture as a key area for Martin’s improvements with the Aprilia.
Although the test went well and Martin felt positive on the bike, he and Aprilia decided to make his racing comeback at Brno next week, bypassing the German GP due to the track’s challenging nature after a lengthy period of recovery.
