Oscar Piastri of McLaren topped FP3 at the F1 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, completing a clean sweep for the team in practice sessions.
The session started slowly due to the high midday heat, but Carlos Sainz initially led the way in his Williams, which had struggled on Friday.
Ferrari’s Leclerc and Mercedes’ Hamilton later overtook Sainz, with George Russell setting the fastest time until Verstappen edged him out by 0.021s.
McLaren’s Norris struggled with car issues but managed to improve his time, while Piastri impressed with a 1m12.387s lap, securing the top spot comfortably.
Leclerc took third, followed by Russell and Verstappen, while rookie Isack Hadjar claimed sixth place in the Racing Bulls car.
The session was not without problems, as Williams’ Alex Albon faced an unresolved car issue, and Hamilton suffered gear shift problems, finishing ninth overall.
