Dynamo Sho Tsuboi Shocks Dandelion at Super Formula Autopolis Grand Prix

“Tom’s driver Sho Tsuboi secured his first Super Formula victory of the season, snapping Dandelion Racing’s winning streak at Autopolis.

Tsuboi had a strong start from fifth on the grid, quickly climbing to second behind pole sitter Tomoki Nojiri, with Ayumu Iwasa also making gains to reach third place.

After the mandatory pitstops, Iwasa initially led the race, but a loose front-right wheel forced him to slow down on lap 27, allowing Tsuboi to take over the lead.

Tsuboi crossed the finish line 1.1 seconds ahead of Nojiri, who secured his first podium of the year, while Kenta Yamashita completed the top three.

The victory marked Tsuboi’s first win of the 2025 season, with reigning champion Ren Sato finishing fourth and Sena Sakaguchi in fifth.

Tadasuke Makino salvaged sixth place for Dandelion Racing on a challenging day, with pre-race championship leader Kakunoshin Ohta struggling to 13th place, leaving Makino leading by four points over Ohta and Tsuboi trailing by 14 points.”
