Toprak Razgatlioglu is in the final stages of reaching an agreement with Yamaha to move to MotoGP in 2026 as a two-time World Superbike champion.
The agreement has been confirmed by various sources, including the rider’s manager, Kenan Sofuoglu, who stated that a contract has been signed and will be officially announced soon.
Razgatlioglu’s likely destination in MotoGP is with Pramac, Yamaha’s satellite team, which could displace current riders Miguel Oliveira and Jack Miller, whose contract is expiring.
The situation hinges on Miller’s renewal, as his impressive performance and contributions to bike development are highly valued by both Pramac and Yamaha.
Oliveira’s position is also uncertain due to a season marred by injury, necessitating careful consideration and navigation by all parties involved.
Efforts are being made to find a solution that respects all contracts and the interests of the riders involved, while taking into account external factors such as sponsorships and team dynamics.
Yamaha and Pramac are actively managing the negotiations, with a focus on maintaining competitiveness and balance within their MotoGP lineup amidst these potential changes.
