Max Verstappen won an intriguing Las Vegas Grand Prix ahead of Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez in a hard fought
“Verstappen took the lead from Leclerc at Turn 1, forcing him off-track and earning a 5-second time penalty. Several drivers, including Alonso, Sainz, Bottas, Perez, and Hamilton, were involved in incidents on Lap 1. Norris crashed out on Lap 3, causing a safety car and benefiting those who had already made pit stops. A second safety car was triggered later on due to a collision between Russell and Verstappen. Perez took advantage of the safety car periods to claim the lead, but Leclerc briefly reclaimed it before Verstappen ultimately won the race. Leclerc finished second, followed by Perez in a thrilling last lap battle. Ocon took fourth place, with Russell penalized and dropping to eighth. Stroll had an impressive fifth place finish, ahead of Sainz and Hamilton. Alonso and Piastri rounded out the top ten.”
