Max Verstappen hailed for ‘genius’ recovery: ‘I can’t tell you how hard that is’
Former F1 driver Martin Brundle praised Max Verstappen for his recovery from a high-speed spin at the Miami Grand Prix. Verstappen lost control at the second corner and dropped down the order. Brundle highlighted that Verstappen’s error was due to being too eager on the throttle. Despite the mistake, Verstappen displayed impressive car control to avoid being hit by rivals. Brundle commended Verstappen for executing a 360-degree spin and maintaining forward speed. Verstappen pitted for new tires due to a Safety Car period on lap seven.
