Oliver Rowland secured two strong podiums in Berlin, although had a real shot at a Formula E victory in the German capital.
Reigning Formula E world champion Oliver Rowland admitted to “panic-taking” both Attack Modes during the second race of the Berlin E-Prix, potentially costing him a victory. Despite a strong showing throughout the weekend at the Tempelhof Airport Circuit, Rowland started from 18th on the grid in the second race but managed to make his way to the front pack before encountering an issue with activating his Attack Modes properly. The Briton acknowledged that while he executed the race well up to that point, he faltered in managing the Attack Modes strategically. Reflecting on the race, Rowland emphasized the importance of properly utilizing the Attack Modes and regretted not following a more optimal distribution of the power-up periods. Ultimately, Rowland took responsibility for the missed opportunity, acknowledging that a more calculated approach to the Attack Modes could have potentially secured him the win.
