Breakthrough Triumph: Nico Müller Secures First Formula E Victory for Porsche

Nico Müller on his 69th start, secured a maiden Formula E victory in the opening race of this weekend’s Berlin double-header.

Nico Müller achieved his first Formula E victory in Berlin, which was a significant moment for Porsche on their home turf.

He demonstrated exceptional driving skills by pulling away from the pack in the final laps and securing the win with nearly a five-second lead.

Müller strategically utilized his energy advantage, taking advantage of the Pit Boost and being the first to activate Attack Mode among the leaders.

This allowed him to establish a lead that was impossible for his competitors to close in on due to his superior energy management.

The race started smoothly, with the pace gradually picking up after a slow start in the initial phase and becoming more intense from lap 13 onwards.

Lucas di Grassi made an impressive early move from the back of the grid to the front for Lola but struggled after using the Pit Boost.

There were some setbacks and dramas during the race, like Pascal Wehrlein’s pit stop for a puncture and Dan Ticktum’s power issues, but ultimately, Oliver Rowland completed the podium with Nick Cassidy in second place behind Müller. Edoardo Mortara finished fourth and gained the championship lead with Wehrlein finishing in 19th place.
