Jack Aitken will replace Jenson Button at Cadillac’s World Endurance Championship team next year, partnering with Earl Bamber and Sebastien Bourdais in the #38 Cadillac V-Series.R.
Aitken, who has experience in IMSA, will embark on his first full WEC season after making multiple Le Mans 24 Hours appearances with Cadillac.
During the Bahrain rookie test, Aitken integrated with the Jota team, setting the stage for his upcoming WEC campaign.
He will also continue racing in the IMSA GTP division alongside Bamber, and newcomer Frederik Vesti at endurance events.
Aitken expressed gratitude for the opportunity and excitement for the new challenges ahead in both series.
