Norris Acknowledges Verstappen’s Dominance at Imola GP: “Max Was Simply Too Quick”

Lando Norris secured second place in the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, acknowledging that Max Verstappen’s Red Bull was too fast for him at Imola.

Despite McLaren’s recent success, Verstappen dominated the race from the start, leaving Norris unable to catch up even after a late surge following a safety car period.

Norris commented post-race that second place was the best he could achieve against the pace of the Red Bull driver.

Both Norris and his McLaren teammate, Oscar Piastri, faced strong competition from Verstappen, with the Dutchman’s victory tightening the points gap among the top three drivers.

Looking ahead to Monaco, Norris expressed satisfaction with his Sunday performance and positivity despite the challenges he faces in qualifying on Saturdays.
