Despite his errors, Norris secured a fourth-place starting position for the Imola Grand Prix, trailing behind George Russell, Max Verstappen, and teammate Oscar Piastri, who clinched pole position. Norris bemoaned his shortcomings in qualifying laps, noting that he consistently lags while others improve. This disparity is evident as Piastri’s three pole positions outshine Norris’ lackluster Q3 showings this season.
