KTM’s potential interest in Marc Marquez and Jorge Martin has added a new dimension to the MotoGP rider market for 2025. While it was initially assumed that KTM wouldn’t play a major role in the contract negotiations this year due to their existing rider contracts, recent rumors suggest otherwise. Brad Binder’s current form and a possible clause allowing KTM to move him to Tech3 could create space for new signings within the KTM group. Marquez, dealing with bike adaptation and his recent Ducati transition, seems less likely to make the move to KTM compared to Jorge Martin. Martin’s potential departure from Ducati could pave the way for a return to KTM, where he started his MotoGP journey.
