Martin Brundle does not feel Toto Wolff will struggle to manage George Russell and Kimi Antonelli fairly through an intra-Mercedes F1 drivers’ championship battle.
Martin Brundle believes Toto Wolff will have no problem supporting George Russell and Kimi Antonelli simultaneously if the current F1 season becomes a two-horse race between them. Wolff, as the Mercedes team principal, has experience managing intra-team title fights, as seen with Hamilton and Rosberg from 2014 to 2016. Despite challenges, Brundle emphasizes that many team bosses struggle with supporting multiple drivers during competition. Russell and Antonelli, both Mercedes-Benz proteges, have come up through the ranks together. Brundle acknowledges that handling two competitive drivers within a team is no easy task, but believes Wolff has the capability based on past performance.
