Find out which former F1 drivers will be taking part in the 2026 Indy 500.
In the 2026 Indy 500, a total of five former F1 drivers will be participating.
The most successful among them is Romain Grosjean, a 10-time podium finisher whose F1 career was cut short by a fiery crash at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix.
Another former F1 driver on the grid is Takuma Sato, who has achieved more success at The Brickyard than in F1, becoming the first Asian winner of the 500 in 2017 and winning again in 2020.
Mick Schumacher, former Haas driver, will be making his debut at the Indy 500, while Alexander Rossi and Marcus Ericsson, both former F1 drivers, will be returning to the race.
Rossi won the Indy 500 in 2016, shortly after leaving F1, while Ericsson claimed victory in 2022.
