Pierre Gasly delivered a cryptic dismissal of a question during media day at the Canadian Grand Prix.
During the official FIA press conference at the Canadian Grand Prix, Pierre Gasly claimed that the interviewer did not want him to answer a question about his recent wet-weather test at Magny-Cours.
Gasly participated in a two-day test at the French track between the Miami Grand Prix and the Canadian Grand Prix, where he tested the full-wet compound for F1’s sole tyre supplier.
The Alpine driver warned his fellow drivers that they would be “shocked” by the conditions at the circuit, hinting at the challenges they might face.
Gasly has been critical of the current tyres’ performance in wet weather, joking about needing an “underwear change every lap” during rainy races.
When asked about the challenges of driving in those conditions, Gasly bluntly refused to answer the question, hinting at potential difficulties with the new F1 cars.
