Despite leading the championship with a 34-point advantage after impressively winning the Dutch GP, his lead vanished due to a series of setbacks, including crashes and poor results. The Australian driver finished the season third, trailing behind Lando Norris and Max Verstappen, but took away positive lessons and newfound challenges to work on for the upcoming season. Piastri acknowledged the importance of learning from his mistakes, both on a technical and strategic level, in order to improve his performance and competitiveness.
