A rising South American talent recently signed by Mercedes wants to race in everything across his career.
American Mercedes development driver Joshua Dürksen aims to compete in all major championships, regardless of the car type. Currently racing for Invicta Racing in Formula 2, he recently secured victory in Australia. Dürksen’s next race is in F2’s debut in Miami next month, and he also did a Formula E rookie test for Citroën in Madrid. Joining Mercedes this year, he looks forward to TPC tests for the Silver Arrows, his first F1 machinery experience. At 22, Dürksen plans future moves beyond F2, aiming to participate in various championships by 2026, including Formula 1, Formula E, IndyCar, WEC, GT racing, rallying, and even the Dakar Rally.
