This weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix marks a huge, very special occasion for McLaren.
McLaren has unveiled a special livery to mark its 1000th Formula 1 race at the Monaco Grand Prix, symbolizing the team’s message: McLaren Never Quits. The livery will also be on display at the following Spanish Grand Prix. The celebratory moment on Thursday at the Monaco circuit will feature McLaren’s first F1 car, the M2B, alongside their 1000th entry, the MCL40, with team representatives and past grand prix winners in attendance. CEO Zak Brown emphasized the team’s history of determination and success, looking forward to celebrating McLaren’s achievements and looking ahead to the future. Returning to Monaco, where McLaren debuted in 1966, the team’s milestones include 203 wins, 561 podiums, 177 pole positions, 13 drivers’ championships, and 10 constructors’ championships.
