A possible future option for Max Verstappen if he decided to leave Red Bull is off the table.
McLaren CEO Zak Brown firmly shut down the possibility of swooping for Max Verstappen in a recent statement. Verstappen’s future in Formula 1 has been a topic of discussion, with the Dutchman suggesting he might leave if regulatory changes are not made. Despite Verstappen’s current contract with Red Bull until 2028, rumors arose when his race engineer decided to join McLaren next year. However, Brown emphasized that there is no room for Verstappen at McLaren due to the existing lineup of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Brown praised the current drivers’ performance, highlighting their success and harmony, making it clear that McLaren is content with its current driver lineup.
